APEX is back....with an obstacle course!

October 27 - November 7

Get ready to ignite energy, build leaders, and raise funds all in one spectacular event — welcome to APEX: “Level Up” at Kiker Elementary! The APEX leadership program and fundraiser is more than a fun run — it’s a leadership-building experience that empowers every student and serves as our one big fundraiser that fuels Kiker all year long through campus support, community grants, and student enrichment.

This year, we’re bringing the obstacle course to campus! Students will climb, crawl, weave, and jump their way through a fun course featuring inflatable and portable challenges. Families and friends can sponsor students per obstacle completed — or make a flat donation — to help keep Kiker’s programs strong and growing.

WHY IT MATTERS

For each student: It's about teamwork, growth mindset, and stepping up as a leader. APEX events launch with a pep rally, weave in leadership lessons and spirit challenges, then celebrate on obstacle course day.

For our school: This is the fundraiser that makes nearly everything we do possible. The support raised here directly funds the majority of Kiker PTA’s annual programs — from classroom reimbursements and teacher appreciation to campus improvements and community events. When families show up for APEX, it keeps every other initiative running strong all year long.

For our community: It’s more than fun — families, friends, and sponsors rally behind our students, cheer them on, and make it happen. Corporate matching? We’ve got that too. (see below)

HOW IT WORKS

HOW TO HELP

1) Your student will come home with a VIP Access Badge with a unique QR code. Scan the QR code to go to their personal pledging page. From their page, enter a pledge or share the page with family and friends to sponsor your student! 

2) Volunteer to help on course day (registration, station monitors, cheering). Contact volunteer@kikerpta.org if you would like to help.

3) Share this with local businesses or friends who want to support our school.

4) Show up and cheer — your enthusiasm helps build momentum. Your kids will love to see your face while they run the obstacle course. 

DID YOU KNOW?

Our APEX fundraiser supports corporate matching! Once you receive your pledge receipt email, follow the link in your receipt to see if your company matches donations.  Corporate matching donations go 100% to Kiker Elementary PTA. Dell employees, contact treasurer@kikerpta.org for your separate matching instructions.
